Car
If you're driving from downtown Portland, head South on I-295. Take exit 5 for Route 77 towards Cape Elizabeth. Continue on Route 77 for about 5 miles, following signs to Cape Elizabeth. Once you reach the intersection with Shore Rd, turn left onto Shore Rd. Goddard Mansion will be located on your right at 1.5 miles, just past the entrance to Fort Williams Park. There is free parking available on-site.

Public Transportation
Take the Metro Bus Route 21 (South Portland) from downtown Portland. The bus departs from the Congress St + State St stop. Ride the bus to the Cape Elizabeth Town Center stop, which takes about 30 minutes. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to Goddard Mansion. Head south on Route 77, then turn left onto Shore Rd. Goddard Mansion will be on your right. Be sure to check the Metro's schedule for the current bus times, as fares may apply.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in downtown Portland. Take the East End Trail, which connects to Route 77. Follow Route 77 south towards Cape Elizabeth for about 5 miles. Once you reach Shore Rd, turn left, and Goddard Mansion will be on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic laws. Also, check for any bike rental fees.

Walking
For those who enjoy a longer walk, you can walk from downtown Portland to Goddard Mansion. This is approximately a 6.5-mile journey. Head south along the waterfront on Commercial St, then follow the pedestrian paths to connect with Route 77. Once you reach Route 77, continue heading south until you reach Shore Rd. Turn left, and you will find Goddard Mansion on your right. This walk will take about 2-2.5 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
