From Sugarloaf Mountain, head southwest on the access road towards Route 27. Merge onto ME-27 S and continue for about 9 miles. Turn left onto W Flagstaff Rd. After approximately 4 miles, you will reach Bigelow Preserve, which is located on your left. There is no entrance fee, and parking is available on site.

If you are taking public transportation, start by taking a local bus or shuttle service from Sugarloaf Mountain to the nearest town, which is Stratton. Once in Stratton, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to W Flagstaff Rd.
