Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Liwonde National Park. Head south on the main road (M5) for approximately 4 kilometers. You will see signs pointing towards the Park Offices. Turn left at the sign for Liwonde National Park Park Offices and continue for about 1 kilometer. The Mtulila Cump site will be located near the offices. Make sure to have cash on hand for entrance fees, which are typically around 10,000 MWK for foreigners.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, find a minibus heading towards Liwonde from nearby towns such as Machinga or Zomba. Once you arrive at the Liwonde bus station, you may need to take a short taxi ride to the Park Offices, which should cost around 1,000-2,000 MWK. Inform the taxi driver that you are going to the Liwonde National Park Park Offices. From the offices, it is about a 15-minute walk to Mtulila Cump.
