Public Bus
From downtown Annapolis, walk to the nearest bus stop on West Street. Take the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Bus 70 towards Washington, DC. Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes until you reach the stop at the National Mall. From there, walk towards Independence Ave SW, and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum will be on your left.

Water Taxi
Start at the Annapolis City Dock and board the water taxi heading towards Eastport. Disembark at the Eastport stop and walk to the bus stop located on 3rd St. Take the MTA Bus 70 towards Washington, DC. After about 45 minutes, get off at the National Mall. Walk towards Independence Ave SW, and you will find the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum on your left.

Bicycle
Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in downtown Annapolis. Head south on West Street, then take the scenic route along the Chesapeake Bay towards the B&A Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the trailhead near the Baltimore-Annapolis Trail. Continue towards the city of Baltimore, where you can connect to the DC bike paths. Follow the National Mall signs until you reach the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum located at 600 Independence Ave SW.

Begin your walk from the Maryland State House at 100 State Circle in downtown Annapolis. Head south on State Circle towards Main St. Follow Main St until you reach West St. Turn left on West St and walk until you reach the bus terminal. From there, take the MTA Bus 70 towards Washington, DC. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at the National Mall and walk towards Independence Ave SW to reach the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
