    From anywhere in Bethesda, walk to the Bethesda Metro Station located at 7401 Wisconsin Ave. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride the train for about 30 minutes and get off at the Union Station stop. After exiting the station, head southeast on Massachusetts Ave NE, then turn left onto Columbus Circle NE. Continue walking until you reach Independence Ave SE. The Library of Congress will be located on your right at 101 Independence Ave SE.

From there, take the Red Line towards Glenmont and switch trains at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station to the Yellow Line towards Mount Vernon Square. Get off at the National Archives stop. Walk south on 7th St NW and turn right onto Independence Ave SW. The Library of Congress is located at 101 Independence Ave SE.

The Library of Congress is located at 101 Independence Ave SE.
