From the Maryland State House, head east on State Circle. Continue straight onto Main St. After about 0.3 miles, turn left onto West St. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Eastport Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto East St. Follow East St until you reach the intersection of East Capitol St NE & First St NE in Washington, DC. This walk will take approximately 40 minutes.

From the Annapolis Transit Center, take the Route 90 bus towards New Carrollton. After about 30 minutes, get off at the New Carrollton Metro Station. Transfer to the Orange Line towards Vienna/Fairfax-GMU and ride for 12 stops until you reach Capitol South Metro Station. From there, exit the station and walk north on First St SE for about 10 minutes until you arrive at the intersection of East Capitol St NE & First St NE.
