From any location in Bethesda, walk to the Bethesda Metro Station, located at 7400 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814. Once at the station, board the Red Line train towards Glenmont. Travel for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the Farragut North Metro Station. After exiting the station, walk east on L Street NW for about 1 block, then turn left onto 17th Street NW. Continue walking until you reach Rhode Island Ave NW, then turn right. The Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle will be on your left at 1725 Rhode Island Ave NW.

From downtown Bethesda, head to the nearest bus stop along Wisconsin Ave. Take the Ride On bus route 34 towards Silver Spring. Get off at the stop at 17th St & Rhode Island Ave NW. From there, walk south on 17th Street NW until you reach the intersection with Rhode Island Ave NW. Turn left, and the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle will be on your left at 1725 Rhode Island Ave NW.

Start by heading south on Wisconsin Ave towards Bradley Blvd. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Montgomery Ave. Turn left onto Montgomery Ave and then continue straight as it becomes Woodmont Ave. After a short distance, turn right onto the Capital Crescent Trail and follow it to the Fletcher's Cove area.
