Getting There

  • Metro

    Start at the Bethesda Metro Station, which is located at 7400 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814. Take the Red Line train towards Glenmont. After 6 stops, get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Station. From there, transfer to the Yellow Line or Green Line towards Branch Avenue or Greenbelt respectively. Get off at the next stop, which is the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Station. Once you exit the station, head southwest on Pennsylvania Avenue NW for about 5 minutes until you reach One Freedom Plaza at 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

  • Bus

    Begin at the Bethesda Transit Center located at 7300 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814. Take the Metrobus route 34 or 36 towards Washington, DC. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Pennsylvania Ave NW & 13th St NW stop. From there, walk one block east on Pennsylvania Avenue NW for about 2 minutes, and you will arrive at One Freedom Plaza, located at 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

  • Walking

    If you're feeling adventurous and the weather is nice, start your journey from downtown Bethesda. Head south on Wisconsin Ave toward Montgomery Ave. Continue straight on Wisconsin Ave until you reach the Bethesda Metro Station. From there, you can take the Metro as described previously, or if you prefer a longer walk, take a scenic route by walking through the Rock Creek Park trails. This will take you through a beautiful area before you reach the National Mall. Once you are on the National Mall, head east toward the Capitol Building, then north to Pennsylvania Avenue NW. One Freedom Plaza will be on your right at 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
