Board a Yellow Line train towards Huntington or a Green Line train towards Branch Ave. After 1 stop, get off at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt, and after 1 more stop, get off at the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Metro Station. Walk 5 minutes to 1000 H St NW, Washington, DC 20001.

    From downtown Bethesda, walk to the Bethesda Transit Center located on 7300 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814. Board the Ride On Bus Route 34 towards the Silver Spring Metro Station. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop at H St NW & 10th St NW. Walk 2 minutes to 1000 H St NW, Washington, DC 20001.

    If you are near downtown Bethesda, a scenic walking route is available. Head southeast on Wisconsin Ave, then turn left on Elm St. Follow Elm St until you reach the Capital Crescent Trail, and take it towards Washington, DC. Continue on the trail until you reach the water's edge, then turn left onto the National Mall. Follow the Mall towards the east until you reach the National Archives. From there, walk north on 10th St NW for about 5 minutes until you reach 1000 H St NW, Washington, DC 20001.
