Walking
If you're starting from Laurel Town Center, head southwest on Laurel-Bowie Road (MD-197) towards the intersection with Route 1 (Baltimore Avenue). Turn left onto Route 1 and follow it until you reach the Laurel MARC Train Station. From there, take the train heading to Washington, D.C. and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Once you exit the station, transfer to the Yellow or Green Line metro towards Branch Avenue or Greenbelt and get off at the Foggy Bottom-GWU station. From there, walk northwest on 23rd St NW for about 10 minutes until you reach 17th St NW. Turn left onto 17th St NW and you'll find the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design at GW on your right.
