    From Laurel, head to the nearest bus stop at the Laurel Town Center. Take the Metrobus Route 87 towards Greenbelt Metro Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Greenbelt Metro Station and transfer to the Metro Green Line towards Branch Avenue. Travel for about 20 minutes and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont and ride for 2 stops to the Judiciary Square Metro Station. Exit the station, walk north on 4th St NW towards Constitution Ave NW, and you will arrive at the National Gallery of Art.

    Walk to the nearest Metro station in Laurel, which is the Laurel MARC Train Station. Take the MARC Train towards Washington, D.C. (Penn Line) and ride for about 30 minutes until you reach Union Station. From Union Station, follow the signs to the Metro Red Line and board towards Glenmont. After 2 stops, get off at the Judiciary Square Metro Station. Exit the station and walk north on 4th St NW towards Constitution Ave NW, where you will find the National Gallery of Art.
