Getting There

  • Metro

    From Rockville, head to the Rockville Metro Station located at 30 Maryland Ave, Rockville, MD 20850. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride for about 20 minutes, and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt and ride for another 5 minutes, getting off at the L'Enfant Plaza Station. Finally, exit the station and follow signs to the National Mall and Ohio Dr SW. Walk about 15 minutes southwest to reach East Potomac Park.

  • Bus

    From the Rockville Town Center, take the Ride On Bus Route 46 towards the White Flint Metro Station. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the Rockville Metro Station. From there, board the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont and continue as described above. Alternatively, check the local bus schedules for direct routes to the National Mall area, which may have limited service but could offer a more direct route depending on the time of day.

    If you're already near the Rockville Town Center, you can walk to the Rockville Metro Station. Head south on Maryland Ave, then turn left onto E Montgomery Ave. Continue until you see the Rockville Metro Station. Follow the Metro instructions provided above.
