    From Rockville, head to the Rockville Metro Station. Take the Red Line train towards Glenmont. Ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt and ride for one stop to the National Gallery of Art stop. After exiting the station, walk east on Constitution Ave NW for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the National Gallery of Art.

    From Rockville, locate the nearest bus stop for the Ride On Bus service. You can take the Route 45 bus heading towards the Rockville Metro Station. Get off at the Rockville Metro Station and transfer to the Metro Red Line. Take the train towards Glenmont and ride for about 30 minutes to reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. From there, switch to the Yellow Line toward Greenbelt and go one stop to the National Gallery of Art stop. Exit the station and walk east for 5 minutes on Constitution Ave NW to reach the museum.
