    From the main entrance of Seneca Creek State Park, head southwest on MD-355 S (Frederick Rd) for about 7 miles. Turn left onto US-340 W towards Harpers Ferry. Continue on US-340 W for approximately 10 miles. Take the exit toward Harpers Ferry and merge onto Shenandoah St. Continue on Shenandoah St for about 0.5 miles, and you will see John Brown's Fort on your right at 814 Shenandoah St, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425.

    From Seneca Creek State Park, you will need to get to the nearest bus stop on MD-355 S. Take the Ride-On Bus Route 55 towards the Glenmont Metro Station. Once you arrive at the Glenmont Metro Station, transfer to the Metro Red Line towards Shady Grove. Disembark at the Rockville station and transfer to the MARC Train (available on weekdays) or a shuttle service that goes to Harpers Ferry. Upon arriving in Harpers Ferry, walk approximately 0.5 miles east on Shenandoah St to reach John Brown's Fort at 814 Shenandoah St.
