If you are starting from the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Visitor Center, exit the building and turn left onto Washington Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles. You'll pass the historic buildings and shops along the way. Stay on Washington Street until you reach the intersection with High Street. The Welcome Sign is located at 970 Washington St, on your left-hand side.

From the Lower Town area of Harpers Ferry, head north on Shenandoah Street toward the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and walk straight for approximately 0.3 miles. The Harper's Ferry Historic District Welcome Sign will be on your right at 970 Washington St.

If you are near the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, exit the building and walk south on the Appalachian Trail path towards the main road. Once you reach the main road, turn left onto Washington Street. Walk for about 0.4 miles, and you will find the Harper's Ferry Historic District Welcome Sign at 970 Washington St on your left.
