Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by getting on US-340 N from any location in the Eastern Panhandle. Follow US-340 N for approximately 15 miles. As you approach Harpers Ferry, look for signs directing you to the Harpers Ferry National Historic District. Take the exit toward Harpers Ferry, and then turn onto Park Row Pl. You will arrive at 501 Park Row Pl, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425. Note that parking is available, but there may be a fee depending on the season and lot availability.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take the MARC train from various locations in the Eastern Panhandle (e.g., from Martinsburg or Shepherdstown). Board the MARC train at the nearest station and head towards the Harpers Ferry station. Once you arrive at the Harpers Ferry station, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the National Historic District. Exit the station, head towards Potomac Street, and follow the signs to Park Row Pl. The address is 501 Park Row Pl, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425. • Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to bike to Harpers Ferry, there are scenic routes available. Start on the C&O Canal Towpath, which runs along the Potomac River and leads into Harpers Ferry. The ride is approximately 10 miles from the nearest access point at the canal. Once you arrive in Harpers Ferry, follow local bike routes to reach Park Row Pl. Make sure your bike is in good condition, and consider bringing water and snacks for the journey.
