Walking
From the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Visitor Center, head south on Washington Street toward the intersection with High Street. Continue straight onto High Street, which will take you through the historic area of Harpers Ferry. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Shenandoah Street. Turn left onto Shenandoah Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with Potomac Street. At this point, you will be walking along the river. Continue on Potomac Street until you see the trail leading up to the Ruins of Shenandoah Pulp Factory. The ruins will be located on your right side, and you may have to climb a small hill to reach them.

Biking
If you have access to a bike, from the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Visitor Center, bike down Washington Street and continue onto High Street, following the same route as the walking instructions. Once you reach Shenandoah Street, turn left and bike along it until you hit Potomac Street. Continue biking on Potomac Street until you find the trail that leads to the Ruins of Shenandoah Pulp Factory. The ride should take about 15 minutes, depending on your speed.
