Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Northampton, head east on Main Street. Continue straight onto Route 10 South. Follow Route 10 for approximately 4 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 141. Turn left onto Route 141 and follow it for about 2 miles. Turn right onto Combs Road, and the Mass Audubon Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary will be on your left at 127 Combs Rd, Easthampton, MA 01027. Parking is available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    From the Northampton Bus Station, take the PVTA bus Route 22 towards Easthampton. Get off at the Combs Road stop. Walk approximately 0.3 miles down Combs Road towards the sanctuary. Note that the bus schedule may vary, so check the PVTA website for the latest information. A fare of $1.50 is required for the bus ride.

  • Bicycle

    If you're cycling from Northampton, take the Manhan Rail Trail which connects to Easthampton. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with Route 141. From there, you can continue to Combs Road. The total distance is about 6 miles and should take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
