Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from Edgartown, head west on Main Street toward South Water Street. Continue straight onto Dike Road. After about 1 mile, you will see the entrance to Mytoi Japanese Garden on your right at 41 Dike Rd. The garden is a peaceful retreat featuring various plantings and Japanese-inspired landscapes.

  • Public Transportation

    From Oak Bluffs, take the VTA bus (Route 1) towards Edgartown. Ride the bus until you reach the Edgartown Library stop. From there, transfer to the VTA bus Route 13, which goes directly to the Mytoi Japanese Garden. You will get off at the stop closest to the garden entrance on Dike Road. The garden is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

  • Biking

    If you are starting from Vineyard Haven, rent a bike and head south on Main Street towards State Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road. Turn left and follow this road until you reach Edgartown. From Edgartown, follow Main Street to Dike Road and turn right. Mytoi Japanese Garden will be on your right at 41 Dike Rd.
