From Newburyport, head southwest on State Street toward Merrimac Street. Turn right onto Merrimac Street and continue for about 1 mile. Merge onto I-95 S via the ramp to Boston. After approximately 10 miles, take exit 50 toward US-1 S. Continue on US-1 S for about 3 miles, then take the exit onto MA-114 E toward Salem. Follow MA-114 E for about 5 miles, then turn right onto Winter Island Road. Winter Island Park will be on your left at 50 Winter Island Rd, Salem, MA 01970.

From Newburyport, take the MBTA commuter rail from Newburyport Station heading south towards Boston. Get off at the Salem Station. From there, you can take the Salem Ferry or a local bus to Winter Island Park. If you choose to walk, it's about a 30-minute walk, head southwest on Washington Street, then turn left onto Winter Island Road. Continue until you reach Winter Island Park at 50 Winter Island Rd, Salem, MA 01970.
