    If you are starting from Waltham City Hall, head east on Main Street toward Moody Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Moody Street and turn left. Walk along Moody Street until you reach the Waltham MBTA station. From the station, take the Commuter Rail train to North Station in Boston. Once you arrive at North Station, exit the station and walk to the Haymarket bus terminal. From there, catch the 92 or 93 bus towards Charlestown. Get off at the stop for 1st Ave & 3rd St. The Charlestown Navy Yard will be just a short walk from the bus stop.

    Starting from Waltham, make your way to the nearest MBTA bus stop, such as the one at Main Street and Common Street. Take the 505 or 553 bus towards Alewife Station. At Alewife Station, transfer to the Alewife subway line (Red Line) and head towards Ashmont.
