If you're driving from Acapulco, take the Autopista del Sol (Highway 95D) towards Zihuatanejo. After about 2 hours, take the exit towards Playa Blanca (Carretera Barra de Potosi). Continue on this road for about 15 minutes until you reach Campamento Tortuguero Ayotlcalli, located on the left side of the road at Carretera Barra de Potosi - Achotes. Look for the signs indicating the campground as you approach the area. Ensure you have cash for tolls along the highway, which may cost approximately 200-300 pesos.

To reach Campamento Tortuguero Ayotlcalli using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Acapulco to Zihuatanejo. Buses run frequently and the fare is around 200-250 pesos. Once you arrive in Zihuatanejo, transfer to a local bus heading towards Playa Blanca. After about 30 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off near Campamento Tortuguero Ayotlcalli, which is located on Carretera Barra de Potosi - Achotes. Be prepared to walk a short distance to the campground entrance.
