If you are driving, head south on the main road from either Zihuatanejo or Ixtapa. Follow the signs towards Highway 200, which will take you towards Acapulco. Continue on Highway 200 for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the junction for Soledad de Maciel. Turn left onto the road leading into the town. As you enter Soledad de Maciel, keep an eye out for local signs pointing you to the Zona Arqueológica Soledad de Maciel-Xihuacan, which is located just outside the town center.

To reach the Zona Arqueológica Soledad de Maciel-Xihuacan by public transport, first take a bus from Zihuatanejo or Ixtapa heading towards Acapulco. Make sure to tell the driver you want to get off at Soledad de Maciel. The journey should take about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Soledad de Maciel, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the archaeological site. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the Zona Arqueológica, which is located just outside the main town area.
