If you are in the central area of Playa del Carmen, start at the famous Fifth Avenue (Quinta Avenida). Walk south until you reach Calle 12. Here, you can catch a colectivo (shared van) heading towards Puerto Aventuras. The colectivo will drop you off at the main road (Car federal 227).
