The building is easily visible and has a distinctive glass design. The walk from the Riverwalk to the Renaissance Center should take about 10 to 15 minutes depending on your starting point.

If you prefer using public transit, you can take the Detroit People Mover, an elevated train system that serves Downtown Detroit. The nearest station to the Renaissance Center is the 'Renaissance Center' station. To get there, find the nearest People Mover station and purchase a ticket (the cost is $0.75). Board the train and ride it to the Renaissance Center stop. Once you exit, you will be right at the entrance of the GMRenCen. The People Mover runs frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long.

Another option is to rent a bike. There are bike-sharing programs available in Downtown Detroit, such as MoGo. You can find bike stations throughout the area. Rent a bike and head towards the riverfront, following the bike lanes towards the Renaissance Center. The ride should take around 10 minutes, depending on your pace and starting location.
