Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Winona Visitor Center located at 924 East 3rd Street, head west on East 3rd Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue walking south for about 0.3 miles. As you approach the river, you will see Levee Park directly ahead, located at 58 Center Street. You can follow the path that leads down to the park area.

• Bicycling

  Starting from the Winona State University campus, head south on Johnson Street until you reach the intersection with East 5th Street. Turn left onto East 5th Street, which will lead you directly to the riverfront. Continue straight until you see the entrance to Levee Park at 58 Center Street. The park offers bike racks for parking.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, take the Winona Transit bus route that services downtown Winona. Get off at the stop closest to Main Street and Center Street. From there, head east on Center Street for a short walk, and you will arrive at Levee Park, which is located at 58 Center Street. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times.

• Using a Scooter

  If you are renting a scooter, start on the riverfront trail near the Winona Marina. Head north along the river until you reach the junction that leads to Center Street. Turn left onto Center Street, and you will find Levee Park just a short distance ahead. There are places to park your scooter near the park entrance.
