Getting There

    From downtown Independence, walk to the nearest bus stop for the KCATA bus service. Board the #24 bus towards Lee's Summit. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 'Lee's Summit Main Street and 3rd Street' stop. From there, transfer to the #57 bus towards Missouri Town. Ride the #57 bus for about 15 minutes. The bus will take you directly to the Missouri Town Living History Museum. After getting off, follow the signs to the museum entrance.

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local rental service in downtown Independence. Head east on E 23rd St towards Noland Rd. Continue on Noland Rd for about 5 miles until you reach E Park Rd. Turn left onto E Park Rd and bike for another 1.5 miles. The Missouri Town Living History Museum will be on your right.
