Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the nearest major road, which is Highway 60. From Highway 60, take the exit for Highway 19 North. Continue on Highway 19 North for approximately 15 miles until you reach the town of Winona. Once in Winona, follow the signs for Falling Spring Mill, which will lead you to the intersection of Highway 19 and County Road 364. Turn onto County Road 364, and after about 1 mile, you will find Falling Spring Mill on your right. There is ample parking available near the mill.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options to Falling Spring Mill are limited, as the area is primarily rural. If you are coming from a nearby city, consider taking a Greyhound or local bus service to Winona. Once in Winona, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Falling Spring Mill, which is approximately 4 miles from the town center. Be sure to check the availability of rideshare services in the area beforehand.

• Walking

  If you are already within Mark Twain National Forest and wish to walk to Falling Spring Mill, ensure you have good hiking shoes and plenty of water. From the nearest trailhead, head towards Highway 19 and then follow the road towards Winona. It is approximately a 4-mile walk on paved roads, which may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Note that there may not be sidewalks for the entirety of the route, so be cautious of traffic.
