    If you are traveling by car from Northwest Missouri, take I-70 E towards St. Louis. Continue on I-70 E for about 210 miles. Merge onto I-64 E/I-55 S towards Memphis. Stay on I-64 E for approximately 5 miles, then take exit 36A for Grand Blvd toward MO-1 S. Continue on Grand Blvd for about 2 miles, then turn right onto Government Dr. Follow Government Dr, and the zoo will be on your left at 1 Government Dr, St. Louis, MO 63110. Note: Parking at the zoo is free, but be mindful of busy periods, especially on weekends.

    For public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from various locations in Northwest Missouri to St. Louis. Once in St. Louis, transfer to the MetroLink light rail system. Board the MetroLink at the Civic Center Station and head towards the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Station. Get off at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the zoo. Alternatively, you can catch a MetroBus Line 90 from the MetroLink station that goes directly to the zoo. The bus fare is typically around $2.50.
