Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the St. Louis Zoo, exit the zoo and head east toward the intersection of Wells Drive and Government Drive. From there, turn left onto Government Drive and walk north until you reach the intersection with Oakland Avenue. The Saint Louis Science Center will be on your right at 5050 Oakland Ave. The entire walk should take about 15 minutes.

  • Public Transportation (MetroBus)

    To reach the Saint Louis Science Center via public transport, find the nearest MetroBus stop on the east side of Forest Park. Board the #10 Gravois-Lindell bus heading towards the Central West End. Get off at the stop at Oakland Avenue. From there, you'll see the Science Center directly ahead at 5050 Oakland Ave. The bus fare is $2.00, and exact change is required.

  • Biking

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Forest Park. Head out of the park towards Oakland Avenue. Ride north on the path until you reach the Science Center at 5050 Oakland Ave. The bike ride should take approximately 10 minutes, and there may be rental fees depending on the bike service you choose.
