As one of the few Equity theatres in the state, OAT is committed to providing opportunities for performing artists and offering varied theatrical works.The theatre operates out of the Cedar Street Playhouse, a converted First Baptist Church that adds a unique historical charm to the theatrical experience. OAT achieved Equity Small Professional Theatre status in 1989, affiliated with the national union for actors and stage managers.
