Getting There

    From Terelj National Park, head southwest on the main road towards Ulaanbaatar. Continue driving for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at the town of Zuunmod. Take a left turn towards Arkhangai region. Follow the road for approximately 100 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Ugii Lake, which will appear about 15 kilometers before you reach the lake itself. The lake is situated just off the main road, and there will be a dirt road leading to the lake area.

    From Terelj National Park, you can take a minibus (known locally as a 'marshrutka') towards Ulaanbaatar. Once you arrive at the Ulaanbaatar bus station, find a bus heading to Arkhangai. The journey will take around 2 to 3 hours. Upon arriving in Arkhangai, you will need to hire a taxi or a local driver to take you to Ugii Lake, which is about 20 kilometers away. Ensure you negotiate the fare beforehand; expect to pay around 10,000 to 20,000 MNT depending on the driver.
