Car

If you're traveling by car from Mandalay, head south on the Mandalay-Myitkyina Road (Highway 1) for approximately 2 hours until you reach the turnoff for Mt Popa. Take the right turn onto the Bagan-Mt Popa Road. Continue on this road for about 30 minutes until you see the signs for Mt Popa. The journey offers picturesque views of the surrounding landscape. Be aware that parking is available at the base of the mountain, but ensure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation (Bus)

From Bagan, catch a local bus heading towards Kyaukpadaung. Buses leave regularly from the bus station in Bagan. The journey takes around 1 hour and costs approximately 1,000 MMK (~$0.75).
