Getting There

Car
From Zambezi, take the main road (A8) heading south towards the town of Kabwe. Continue on the A8 for approximately 200 kilometers until you reach the junction near Mumbwa. Turn left onto the A2 road towards Lusaka. After about 50 kilometers, look for the signs directing you towards Kasanka National Park. Follow the signs, and you will enter the park through the main entrance. Please note that you may need to pay an entrance fee, which varies depending on the type of vehicle and number of passengers.

From Zambezi, take a bus to Lusaka which runs regularly throughout the day. The journey will take approximately 6-8 hours. Once in Lusaka, you will need to transfer to a minibus heading towards the town of Kasanka. The minibuses usually leave from the main bus terminal and the fare is quite affordable. The journey from Lusaka to Kasanka will take another 3-4 hours. Upon arrival in Kasanka, you can hire a taxi to take you directly to the park entrance.
