Walking
From the center of Aiwo, start at the Aiwo District Office located at the intersection of Aiwo Road and Yaren Road. Head south on Aiwo Road towards the coast. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Moqua Road. Turn left onto Moqua Road. Follow Moqua Road as it curves gently to the right and continues into the lush greenery of the area. Keep walking for about 15-20 minutes, and you will arrive at Moqua Well, which is a natural freshwater lake surrounded by lush vegetation. Look for the distinct rock formations and the tranquil waters.

If you have access to a bicycle, starting from the Aiwo District Office, head south on Aiwo Road. After about 1 km, make a left onto Moqua Road. Continue on Moqua Road for approximately 2 km, enjoying the scenic views along the way. As you approach Moqua Well, slow down to take in the beautiful surroundings. The well is easily accessible from the main path, and you'll notice the distinct entrance to the area.

For the more adventurous, you can hike to Moqua Well starting from the Aiwo District Office. Take the same route as the walking directions, but instead of sticking to the main path, explore the nearby trails that lead into the natural landscape. This path might take you slightly off the beaten track, but it allows for a more immersive experience with the flora and fauna of Nauru. After about 30 minutes of hiking, you should reach Moqua Well. Be sure to have appropriate footwear and plenty of water for your hike.
