Walking
Start from Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the central area of historic Bhaktapur. Exit the square through the main gate, heading towards the east to reach Bhadgaon Bus Park. From there, follow the road towards the southeast, passing through narrow streets and small shops. Continue straight until you reach the main road. Take a left on the main road and walk for approximately 20 minutes. You will pass several local eateries and shops along the way. Keep an eye out for local signposts indicating directions to Godawari. Once you reach the junction where you see a large sign for Godawari, turn right and walk for another 15 minutes until you arrive at the entrance of Lotus Garden 🪷 कमल बगैंचा.

From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, walk to Bhadgaon Bus Park. Look for a microbus heading to Godawari. The fare is usually quite cheap, around NPR 30-50. Once you board the microbus, inform the conductor that you want to get off at Godawari for Lotus Garden. The journey takes about 30 minutes. When you arrive at Godawari, disembark and walk straight ahead for about 10 minutes until you see the entrance to Lotus Garden 🪷 कमल बगैंचा on your left.
