    If you are in Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head southeast towards the main road (Bhaktapur- Kathmandu Road). Continue walking along the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for the road leading to Kathmandu. Once you reach the main road, look for a local bus or microbus station that has buses heading to Kathmandu. You can ask locals for directions to the nearest bus stop. Board a bus that is headed towards Kathmandu, and let the driver know you're heading to Thamel. The bus ride should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

    From Bhaktapur, you can take a local bus to Kathmandu. Head to the bus station near Bhaktapur Durbar Square and look for a bus labeled 'Kathmandu'. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, get off at Ratna Park bus station. From Ratna Park, walk towards the New Road area. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Chibahal Marga. Turn left onto Chibahal Marga and walk for a few minutes until you see Thamel Eco Resort on your right. Welcome Nepal Treks is directly in front of the resort.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a rickshaw from Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Negotiate the fare with the driver to take you to Thamel in Kathmandu.
