Getting There

Car
From Gosaikunda, head southwest on the road leading to the town of Sundarijal. Follow the road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction towards Kakani. Take a left turn onto the Kakani road. Continue driving for about 8 kilometers, passing through small villages and lush green landscapes. Follow the signs for Kakani View Point, which will guide you to the parking area. Parking may incur a small fee, typically around NPR 50-100.

Public Transportation
Start at Gosaikunda bus stop. Look for a local bus or jeep heading towards Sundarijal. The fare should range between NPR 200-300. Once you reach Sundarijal, transfer to a local bus or jeep going to Kakani. The ride from Sundarijal to Kakani takes about 30 minutes and costs around NPR 150-200. After arriving at Kakani, you may need to walk a short distance to the actual viewpoint, which is well signposted.

If you're feeling adventurous and would like to hike, start from Gosaikunda and take the trail leading towards Kakani. This trek is quite scenic but challenging, covering about 15 kilometers. It typically takes 5-6 hours to reach Kakani View Point. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks, as there are limited facilities along the way.
