Walking
If you are in the central area of Kathmandu, start by heading to the Ratna Park bus station. From there, look for a local bus or microbus heading towards Gongabu. Once on the bus, inform the conductor that you are going to Tokha. The bus ride should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. After reaching Gongabu, get off the bus and head towards the main road. From there, you can either take another local bus heading to Tokha or opt to walk. If walking, follow the road signs to Tokha and ask locals for directions to Baniyatar Bridge, which is well-known in the area. The bridge is approximately 1 km from the main road in Tokha.

Public Transport
From Thamel, take a taxi or a tuk-tuk to Ratna Park Bus Station. Ride a local bus to Gongabu and ask the conductor to let you know when to get off for Tokha. Once in Gongabu, you can catch another bus or take a short walk to the main road. Look for local buses going towards Tokha and hop on one. Once you reach Tokha, ask locals for Baniyatar Bridge; it is a prominent landmark and they will easily guide you. This entire journey may take about 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic and wait times.

Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from Thamel and head towards the Ring Road. Follow the Ring Road towards Gongabu and keep biking straight until you reach the Gongabu area. Once there, you can either continue biking towards Tokha or lock your bike and take a local bus for the last leg of the journey. If you choose to bike all the way, follow the signs to Tokha. Baniyatar Bridge will be visible as you approach the area, and you can ask locals if you need help finding it.
