Getting There

Walking
From Amersfoort Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. Find bus line 50 or 53, which will take you to Amsterdam. Get off at Amsterdam, Bijlmer Arena. From there, transfer to the train towards Amsterdam Centraal. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head towards the city center. Walk straight down the Damrak until you reach Dam Square. From Dam Square, continue straight onto Rokin, and then take a left onto Herengracht. The Museum of the Canals will be on your right at Herengracht 386.

Train
Board a train from Amersfoort Central Station heading towards Amsterdam. Choose a train that goes directly to Amsterdam Centraal, which is the main train station in Amsterdam. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and walk towards the city center. Head straight down the Damrak, then turn left onto Rokin. Continue walking until you reach Herengracht, then turn right. The Museum of the Canals is located at Herengracht 386.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental stations near Amersfoort Central Station. Head west on the cycle path towards Amsterdam. The route will take you through scenic Dutch countryside and will take about 1-1.5 hours. Once you reach Amsterdam, navigate to the city center and follow signs towards Herengracht. The Museum of the Canals is located at Herengracht 386.
