Walking
If you are near Amsterdam Centraal Station, exit the station and head south towards the river. Walk straight down towards the Damrak, which is the main street leading from the station. Continue straight until you reach Dam Square (Dam). From Dam Square, head east on the Kalverstraat until you reach the Spui. Turn right onto the Spui and continue until you see the Oudezijds Voorburgwal on your left. It is a beautiful canal street lined with historic buildings.

If you are near the Leidseplein area, you can take tram 1, 2, or 5 from the Leidseplein tram stop. Get off at the 'Spui' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk north towards the Spui, then turn left onto the Spui. Continue walking until you reach the Oudezijds Voorburgwal, which will be on your left-hand side. This area is known for its picturesque canals.

If you are near the Amsterdam Zuid station, take Metro line 52 (North-South line) towards Noord. Get off at the 'Rokin' station. From Rokin, exit the station and walk east towards the Spui, then turn left onto the Spui. Continue walking straight until you reach the Oudezijds Voorburgwal on your left. This will lead you to the heart of the city.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops around the city. From the Museumplein, cycle east on the Stadhouderskade, then turn left onto the Vijzelgracht. Continue cycling straight until you reach the Amstel river, then turn right. Cycle along the river until you reach the Spui. Here, turn left onto the Spui and continue until you find Oudezijds Voorburgwal on your left, a great spot to enjoy the canal view.
