Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Prins Hendrikkade. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the Damrak. Continue walking straight until you reach the Dam Square. From there, head towards the Rokin, a major street that leads you south. Walk along Rokin until you reach the Spui square. Take a left onto Spui, and then take the first right onto Oudezijds Voorburgwal. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Oudezijds Achterburgwal. You will find yourself on the picturesque canal lined with historic buildings.

• Tram

  From Amsterdam Central Station, take tram line 4, 14, or 24. Get off at the stop called 'Spui'. From the Spui, head to the right onto Spui street, then take the first right onto Oudezijds Voorburgwal. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Oudezijds Achterburgwal, where you'll find the charming canal.

• Bicycle

  If you have rented a bike, start from Amsterdam Central Station and head south on the Prins Hendrikkade. Continue onto the bike path along the Damrak. Once you reach Dam Square, turn left onto Rokin. Follow Rokin until you reach Spui. Turn left onto Spui and then take the first right onto Oudezijds Voorburgwal. Continue on this street until you reach Oudezijds Achterburgwal, where you can park your bike and enjoy the canal views.
