From Amsterdam Central Station, take a train to Schagen. Trains are frequent, so check the schedule on the NS (Dutch Railways) website or app. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Schagen station, exit the station and head towards the main road, which is called Stationsweg. Turn left onto Stationsweg and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Laan. Turn right onto Laan, and continue straight until you reach the Markt square.

From Amsterdam, take the bus line 391 towards Schagen. You can catch this bus from various points in the city, including Amsterdam Sloterdijk station. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Schagen bus station, exit the station and walk towards the Markt square, which is a short 5-minute walk straight ahead.

If you prefer a scenic route, take the train from Amsterdam Central Station to Alkmaar (approximately 40 minutes). From Alkmaar, transfer to a train to Schagen (about 15 minutes). After arriving at Schagen station, exit and walk towards Markt 23A, which is located in the central Markt square. This walk takes around 10 minutes.
