Walking
If you're starting from Haarlem's central train station (Haarlem CS), exit the station and head towards the main road (Kruisweg). Turn right onto Kruisweg and continue straight for about 400 meters. You will pass by several shops and restaurants. When you reach the intersection with the Gedempte Oude Gracht canal, turn left. Follow the canal for about 200 meters until you reach the next bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight. You will now be on the Gierstraat. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Grote Houtstraat. Turn right onto Grote Houtstraat and continue for about 100 meters. You will find Grote Houtstraat 70 on your left, marked by a notable monument.

Walking
From the city center, such as the Grote Markt (main square), head towards the Teylers Museum, located on the corner of the square. Walk along the Spaarne River, enjoying the picturesque views. Continue on the Spaarne until you reach the bridge at the end. Cross the bridge and turn left onto the Gedempte Oude Gracht. Walk straight for approximately 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Gierstraat. Turn right onto Gierstraat and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Grote Houtstraat. Turn right again and walk for about 100 meters. Grote Houtstraat 70 will be on your left.

If you are near the Frans Hals Museum, exit the museum and head south on the Grote Houtstraat. Walk straight for about 300 meters. You will pass by various shops and small cafes. When you reach the intersection with Gierstraat, continue straight. After about another 50 meters, you will see Grote Houtstraat 70 on your right side, recognizable by its distinct architectural style.
