If you are driving from Zaanstreek, take the A8 motorway towards Amsterdam. Continue on A8 until you reach the junction with A10. Note that parking in Amsterdam can be expensive, and it is advisable to use one of the P+R facilities located outside the city, such as P+R Zeeburg or P+R Sloterdijk, and take public transport into the city center.

Get off at the Nieuwmarkt stop, which is just a short walk from the market.
