Follow NH-1B until you reach the traffic circle. Take the second exit to continue on NH-1B, then turn right onto Wentworth Rd. Continue on Wentworth Rd until you reach Wild Rose Ln. Turn left onto Wild Rose Ln, and Fort Stark State Historic Site will be on your right at 211 Wild Rose Ln, New Castle, NH.

    If you prefer public transportation, take the COAST bus service from Portsmouth. Board the bus at the Portsmouth Transportation Center and catch the Route 2 bus heading toward New Castle. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes, and get off at the stop near the intersection of Wentworth Rd and Wild Rose Ln. From there, walk down Wild Rose Ln for about 0.5 miles, and you'll reach Fort Stark State Historic Site at 211 Wild Rose Ln.
