Walking
If you are starting from the Cape May Convention Hall, exit onto Beach Avenue and head south. Walk along Beach Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Carpenters Lane. Turn left onto Carpenters Lane, and you will find Cape May Downtown just a short walk ahead.
Biking
From the Cape May Lighthouse, head south on Sunset Boulevard, then turn left onto Beach Avenue. Continue for about 1 mile until you reach Carpenters Lane. Turn left onto Carpenters Lane, and you will arrive at Cape May Downtown shortly after.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you are near the Cape May Ferry Terminal, take the NJ Transit bus route 313 toward Cape May. Get off at the stop closest to Carpenters Lane, and from there, it is just a 5-minute walk. Head east on the main street until you reach Carpenters Lane, then turn right to reach Cape May Downtown.
Riding a Bicycle
Starting from the Washington Street Mall, head south on Washington Street which turns into Carpenters Lane. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles, and you will arrive at Cape May Downtown on your left.
