    From the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, head southeast on Long Hill Road towards Route 202. Merge onto Route 202 South and continue for about 6 miles. Take the ramp onto I-287 South and merge onto I-78 East. Follow I-78 East for approximately 20 miles and take exit 14C towards the Holland Tunnel. After exiting the tunnel, continue straight onto Jersey Street, then turn left onto Washington Street. Follow Washington Street until you reach Battery Park Underpass.

    From the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare to the nearest train station, which is in Bernardsville. From there, take a NJ Transit train on the Raritan Valley Line towards Newark Penn Station. At Newark Penn Station, transfer to a PATH train towards World Trade Center. Once you arrive at the World Trade Center station, exit and walk towards Battery Park. You will find the Battery Park Underpass nearby.
