From anywhere in Yonkers, make your way to the Yonkers Metro-North Station. Purchase a ticket for a southbound train toward Grand Central Terminal. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at Grand Central Terminal, and follow the signs to the S subway line. Take the S line toward Times Square-42nd Street. At Times Square, transfer to the 1 subway line heading downtown toward South Ferry. Ride the 1 train for 10 stops until you reach the Chambers Street station. Exit the station and walk south on West Broadway for two blocks until you reach Battery Place. Turn right onto Battery Place, and the Museum of Jewish Heritage will be on your left at 36 Battery Pl.

Start at the Yonkers Transit Center and catch the Bee-Line Bus #1 heading south toward the Bronx. Stay on the bus for about 35 minutes until you reach the Riverdale Avenue stop at 238th Street. Here, transfer to the Metro-North train at the Riverdale Station, and take the train south toward Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at Grand Central. From there, follow the signs to the S subway line and take it to Times Square. Transfer to the 1 subway line heading downtown. Ride for 10 stops to Chambers Street. Exit and walk south on West Broadway to Battery Place, where the museum is located.
