For public transportation, take the subway to the Bowling Green station. You can take the 4 or 5 trains from other parts of Manhattan. Once you arrive at Bowling Green, exit the station and walk towards Battery Park, then head east on Battery Place. The Whitehall Building will be on your right at 17 Battery Pl. The subway fare is $2.75 per ride, and you may need a MetroCard if you don't already have one.

You can also take the M5 or M20 bus routes that stop near Battery Park. Board the bus at a stop convenient for your current location and get off at the State Street stop. From there, walk south on State Street towards Battery Place, and you’ll reach The Whitehall Building. The bus fare is $2.75, and you can pay with a MetroCard or exact change.

If you're near the waterfront, consider taking the Staten Island Ferry, which is free. Once you arrive at Staten Island, take the ferry back to Manhattan, disembarking at the Whitehall Terminal.
